Whether moving into new office premises or refurbishing existing, people are rarely
pleased to see cables - but to run a modern office with computers, Internet, telephones
and networked printers, cabling is a necessity.
Based on the experience described in other sections of this website, K T Electronics
have experience of many installations in neat and in many cases, listed buildings.
- Cables are only visible as a last resort.
We are pleased to call upon this experience when installing data network cabling.
We have experience of installation and testing data networks in readiness for the
IT companies to confidently plug in the computers and provide you with working computer
solutions. Indeed the same data cabling, often referred to as “Structured Wiring”
is also ideal for your telephone requirements.
Typically an installation would provide a double data socket to each desk with additional
sockets fitted to accommodate printers and fax machines etc.
These sockets would then be wired back to a “patch panel” in an equipment cupboard
which would allow telephone services and data/Internet to be routed to all locations.
Experienced with Cat 5, Cat 6 and Fibre Circuits.
All installations wired as neatly as possible, terminated, fully tested, labelled and if required Internet enabled ready for you to plug in your computers and start working.
